Insurance
I am In-Network with the following insurance plans:
- Aetna
- UnitedHealthcare
- Oxford
- Oscar
I am an Out of Network provider with most other insurance plans. I am happy to provide you with a receipt at the end of the month called a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance for possible out of network reimbursement. Reimbursify is an app many patients use to submit superbills and get reimbursed quickly.
Most PPO and POS insurance plans have out-of-network coverage. I recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider:
- Does my plan cover out of network providers for individual therapy?
- Does my plan cover telehealth?
- What is the coverage? What is my coinsurance? What is my Out-of-Network deductible?
Rates
20 min consultation: Free
75-90 min Initial Intake Assessment: $230
55 min Individual therapy session: $200
Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment include Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flexible Savings Account (FSA).
Cancellation Policy
I understand that there may be times you are unable to keep an appointment. Please cancel or reschedule an appointment within 24 hrs of your appointment so I can reschedule you and offer the spot to another patient waiting. If an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hrs notice, you will be charged the full session fee.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
